Back at Tok's home before we set off to Kuching for Hari Raya Aidilfitri's celebration.

The not-s0-good news to note: Aki is not in the best of health currently, the doctor said he is at stage 4/5 of fighting colon cancer.

Due to his age/condition, the removal of the growth cannot be done , hence let's pray for him, so that Allah would provide the best for him. Ameen.

Images below depicted Zara in search for her " mini vacuum cleaner" inside Toys r us KLCC.

What happened was, she suddenly grabbed mom's hand and headed straight to the store,

at the same time telling Mom " Adek nak beli vacuum!".

So, being a cool & supportive mom, they zooomed into the outlet and she purposely led the way. (Me and baba were elsewhere queuing for my fav Aunty Anne's pretzel)

Along the journey, she stopped at almost all of the racks that she actually had a change of mind..lols

At the rabbit farm

Mom discovered a rabbit farm at Taman Bukit Puchong (thank you google!) , so here we are having so much fun feeding, chasing and running around the bunny's play yard.

The entire farm was "ours" which has added so much more fun to it.

I fed the bunnies with carrots and some leaves however Zara was freaking out all the way that she chose to comfortably seat on a bench in the middle of the park so that she could just observe me and the bunnies from afar.

I luv all of the bunnies here so much and kept telling mom I wanna come back again!

We had a late tea (brunch, means lite dinner lols), the atmosphere was just so relaxing here as there were less patrons around this side of KLCC..and here are some photos taken that day. taadaa!

She is mom's long time dearest friend(from primary school, and followed by secondary school mates however they went to a separate university.

Back then she flew to Curtin, WA and mom entered MMU.

(but mom visited her in Perth every other year, of which all the cherised memoirs remains so dearly at heart)

*taking abt mom's friends, they just exist in an enormous group

(MMU buddies, MGCC clan and so many more)

Back to the story, she was in KL doin her rounds of shopping-spree, getting ready for the gifts (hantaran) and yes she is getting married in December 2010 in Kuching for a 3-days affair.

We'll be there insyaAllah right before our Kul-Cairo-Jeddah-Mekah trip.

Lemon Cake

Me and babah tried baking this cake recently, it turned out to be a very buttery cake

with a hint of lemon.

We send some to the neighbours and Aunty Mira next door just luvs it tho we did not have any glaze or cream made as topping.

*the recipe made two loaves, of which one appeared less purr-fect than the other bcoz babah took it out from the oven before it was fully baked, and lols!

A week after mom's birthday,

we headed to Universal Studios to have a post-birthday-celebration.

We were chauffeured driven (by baba),

however we took turn after a few hours long drive.

There were buckets of photos taken and here are some to share.

Aki & Tok spent a few nights with us, as they attended Pais's graduation ceremony.

We went for a Thai dinner at a balinese themed restaurant (Lawang Sari).

(how asian is that!?)

We thought the restaurant was more like Ole Ole Bali or Jom Bali so that we could savour Ole Ole Trio, Tipat Cantuk or Ayam Betutu instead it turned out the other way.

Nevertheless, it was a pleasure spending some quality time with both Tok & Aki!

(hint to baba: mom misses the honeymoon ambience spent in Bali too! lols)

We're back to spend some quality time with Tok in Kuantan as she was feeling under the weather (feverish, body-ache, cough etc) and brought her to watch us exploring the shores before setting off to the fisherman's village to grab few huge red-snappers, sea-bass, prawns, squids etc etc for the bbq.

(motive: to have a family-get-together thingy(recite some doas) so that Tok will have a speedy recovery! and she is now! yey!)

Hello Penang!!
We joined the entourage of Uncle JJ to witness his solemnization ceremony in Sungai Petani (Aunty Zila's side), had Aunty Nani and of course Baby Nia together with us embracing the high temp (37degress), nevertheless it was fun catching up with everyone esp. baby Nia!!
We stayed at Royel Hotel the first nite and switched to Traders Hotel the next day.

H i there..here are some updates happening in the family!

We're in the Land of Borneo again..had a super duper time with everyone!

HIGHLIGHTS:

1) We departed via KLIA & our flight got delayed for almost 2 hours hence reached Kuching after midnite, at almost 2AM!!

2) Got our Giant (Toyota Alphard 2.4 G) chosen and driven daily while in Kuching before taking it back to Denai Alam.

3) Met everyoneee in the family again..and lovin all of you in Koo-ching!

( yes, YOU!, you know who you are!!)

4) Granpa enjoyed his daily chores in Kuching while Nana had to attend to some formal matters.

5)Baba went back to KL and came back to Kuching a week later as we joined our Chinese friends celebrating the Year of the TIGER (CNY 2010)

6) Aunty Kel had a sapphire-ring sent by her Bf's family members as a mini-engagement ceremony.

7) As we (me & zara) are always dying for a swim, we spent few weekends at the pool with Uncle Fiq, Ajin, Aya, Dodi & Uncle Jack!!

8) My biggest achievement while in Kuching was that I am a good cyclist now!!

Thanks to Uncle Piq's bicycle and Nana's huge office space which was my training ground. LOLS!

We were in Kuantan last weekend to visit Tok as she wasnt feeling well. After spending few hrs by her side we headed to a fisherman's village as Aki wanted to get some ocean fresh fish. At Beserah, fishermen sell their catch-of-the-day here so you'll get to see all sort of fishes in so many colors and sizes. We took home a basket of deep-sea-fish, some yellowish, some reddish even bluish.

Later that evening, we went around to search for a hotel room to put a nite and guess what!!!??? all HOTELS are fully booked... so we stayed at Vistana as that was the only hotel mom called which has got a room or two left.

As soon as I reached our room, I took out all my swimming accessories hoping to be dipped again

Zara's first word as we were inside Aquaria was "WOWWWWW" !!!

Beachlover's Retreat!

We spent our weekend at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort and we had a good time with a great company in a casual and a very relaxed atmosphere.

A place to be if you are searching for solitude, unwinding, and relaxation...

(the superb ambience had lead to Nana proposing an-extended nite stay..but mom has to go to work on Monday so we cant :( )

This is the (Sampan Bar) where you can relax and enjoy white sandy beach and azure sea under shady huts available by the beach

*after few hrs relaxing in the room, we were jumping up & down dying to go to the beach & the pool..

(we were given a connecting room, so I conveniently crossed over at anytime to Nana & Papa's room :)!! )

we laughed and screamed over&over again..LOLss

and laughed and screamed...

it was soooooo fun!

and laughed again...LOLs!!

on another note, that's Zara complaining to Baba & Achu on the sand that got stuck onto her skin..LOLss!!

and showed some "yucks gesture" againn..LOLss!

after enjoying the wave, we dipped ourselves in the pool...

later that nite...we enjoyed some yummylicious fruit-punch at the lobby's cafe

(thats me sleeping in the stroller, slept in the car actually)

however Zara enjoyed everyone's company that nite

and started posing..LOLs!

The next morning..Zara woke-up dancing on the bed as Achu's alarm played some rocking songs... :))
(zara slept in Mom's room but crawled to Nana's room the first thing in the morning!)

Aman Rimba, Janda Baik

A day before our party, we were at Baba's family day at Aman Rimba, Janda Baik. It was located in the village itself, approx 20 mins drive frm Genting Sempah R&R. The place was serene & breathtaking with the stream flowing & birds chirping.

Far left is the entrance, Aman Rimba is located along the banks of Sungai Benus, a mountain stream which flows calmly over large boulders and rocks.
